Apple is one of the respected products ever created. It caters not just hardware but software.
But as more people of dreaming having one, they are some that really can’t afford or better to say “practical” enough of looking for a cheaper price… And yes I am one of them đ
I tried having units on a second hand. One I purchase personally on a kiosk and one over online selling site, but i met up with the seller.
First this you must have before getting on this kind of deal are:
1. You are a risk taker and aggressive.
2. You are very keen into details.
To be and have the two mentioned, YOU HAVE TO EDUCATE YOURSELF on what you are getting into.
Do alot of research, use the internet, watch reviews on the product you are buying and go around to get the “market” price.
Aside from price what are the risk you got when buying… Well as they say “to manage the risk, you should first understand it” what are the things you should be checking on the unit you are going to buy.
3. You should have a ready cash
When you find a good deal, for sure more people have seen it for sure. So if you found “IT” you should grab it!
4. Ensure you have the contact person of the seller. Get his apple id, facebook account etc.
5. Just like in all life situation “DONT MAKE DECISION WHEN YOU’RE EMOTIONALLY UNSTABLE” don’t buy anything out of tooo much excitement or frustration.
6. Aside from ready cash, ensure that you’re financial won’t fall out. A big no no. Understand the cost and benefit
on technicals.
Phone from abroad are cheap but some would give you headache.
1. Rule of thumb! Always go on “factory unlock”, carrier unlock another story.
2. As much as possible No to Japan lock phone. đĄ
3. When you’re buying unit with diff SIM size, always get first yourself a Prepaid. Then test it into the unit.
4. Ask if it will work on Post paid plan. Some units cant đŚ
5. Don’t get hooked on Free apps offers, it can be erased soon anyway.
6. Don’t get too excited on a cheap price, always wonder and ask why.
7. On meeting up, always have a mobile internet with you or ask the details before meeting up the model to check the carrier if lock or not, the serial number to check the warranty coverage IMEI for other details.
8. Hardware check.
– every corner of the screen
– home button
– volume and speakers
– earpod
– charger. Some are claiming its the original when its not.
– test the receiving and sending text as well as call.
– test 3g, lte, and wifi
– on the sim slot, check if something is in it.
– the power butoon
– charging.
